Allison is an independent performance artist, arts administrator, dance educator, and dramaturg living in Brooklyn, NYC. She received her BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Arizona where she achieved minors in 2D Studio Art and Spanish. While in Tucson, AZ, Allison made devised theatre with friends, attended workshops in compositional improvisation and community-based theatre practices, and studied contemporary movement with Artifact Dance Project where she developed her first movement piece, 20/200.
Allison currently works as the Operations Associate at CPR - Center for Performance Research, teaches dance at Art's House Schools, and is the Program Manager Consultant at ETD Outreach. She is working on her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with the Bhakti Center, and is earning her certification in the Schlachte Method to teach with Ballet for All Kids. She is open-hearted, fiercely opinionated, and unapologetically feminist. Allison is an *aspiring* low-waste minimalist, an *occasional* vegan, and a *wannabe* film critic.
